Upheaval and unearthing in KS


Well it’s taken two months, but we finally put Terry’s house on the market.  We have been de-junking, organizing, cleaning, and finishing 5-years of “deferred maintenance “ projects. Ha!  We’re almost down to one house. Yay!  Our realtor posted the listing online yesterday at 11:30 and we had 17(!) showings booked before bedtime. We are staying at the new house now and we cooked our first meal here last night. Feels like home!

    Update: We SOLD Terry’s house! Had a total of 30 showings from Tuesday afternoon to Saturday morning. Six offers, 5 of which were over our asking price! What a wild ride! Our realtor asked us if we wanted to go into business fixing up houses. Sure, but it takes us 20 years for each one. Seriously. Ha! We close on 8/30 and then I think we will go on vacation!
